Alright, let’s start with the basics! Fermented Plant Juice (FPJ) is basically a natural plant food made from fermenting the juices of young, healthy plants. The idea is simple: use the energy and nutrients from vigorous plants to nourish your cannabis. Imagine it as a kind of magic potion for your plants, made entirely from other plants.

FPJ is made by fermenting plant materials like fresh leaves, fruits, or shoots with sugar. The fermentation breaks down the nutrients and makes them easier for your cannabis to absorb. Essentially, FPJ is packed with all the goodness your cannabis plants need to grow healthy and strong.

So, if you’re thinking, “Can I make my cannabis grow better with something homemade?” Well, FPJ might be the answer!

History Of Fermented Plant Juice

FPJ has its roots in ancient farming practices from regions like Korea and Japan. Farmers have been using it for generations in natural farming to boost plant health and yield. The Korean Natural Farming (KNF) method, created by Master Cho Han Kyu, helped popularize FPJ around the world. This practice isn’t new; it’s tried, tested, and trusted by farmers everywhere who want to use nature to help nature.

In recent years, this method has gained popularity among cannabis growers. As more folks lean toward organic growing and away from synthetic fertilizers, FPJ has become a favorite. It’s sustainable, organic, and super cost-effective—no wonder it’s becoming such a big deal.

It’s almost like cooking a good meal—when you prepare it yourself, it always tastes better, right? Well, when you make FPJ, your cannabis will “taste” the difference too.

Before we get to the “how”, let’s look at what affects the quality of your FPJ. Here’s what you should keep in mind:

  • Plant Selection: Choose healthy plants at the right stage of growth. The best time is early in the morning when the nutrient content is at its peak.
  • Sugar Choice: Brown sugar or any unrefined sugar works best. The sugar acts as a preservative and also feeds the beneficial microbes.
  • Fermentation Conditions: Fermentation should take place in a cool, dark place. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can interfere with the microbial process.

I made a well idk if you’d call it an fpj or ffj but it’s cannabis leaves & bananas with molasses for the sugar. Maybe it’s cuz there’s already liquid in the molasses but I have been applying it at a 15 mls a litter or 2ozs a gallon with great results
